WHY I'M RUNNING FOR
TOWN COUNCIL

We love Sunset Beach! But for all the wonderful things about our community, there is a disconnect between the Town of Sunset Beach Government and its citizens. For too long, citizens have had no voice in what they felt was right for their home/their town. As a Town Council member, I want to bring that feeling of powerlessness to a close. I want to create a more cohesive and better functioning government where everyone is heard and recognized. We are ONE SUNSET BEACH, and we must work together to make this Town the best I know it can be.

In talking with other citizens and business owners, all agree the Town must take initiative to address its infrastructure. We have failing roadways; drainage concerns; and woefully inefficient maintenance practices. We have no long-term plans in place to protect and maintain our valuable assets. As a member of Town Council, I want to explore new avenues in processing and planning methods to bring the Town's infrastructure up to standard. The citizens of Sunset Beach and visitors alike deserve a safe and efficient roadway system.
